Job summary

Explore & Develop is seeking an experienced Chef for our 38‑place boutique early childhood centre in Caringbah. Join a new founding team and design a nutritious Munch & Move–approved menu for children aged 0–6 years while working Monday to Friday with early starts from 7:00am.

We value a collaborative, interactive chef who can contribute to a positive workplace culture and long‑term growth within a supportive service. Flexible part‑time arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Qualified chef with relevant certifications and experience.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
• WWCC + National Police check within 6 months
• GECCKO + Child Protection Training Certificate
• Understanding of children’s nutritional requirements

We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our 38-place boutique early childhood centre located in Caringbah, in the Sutherland Shire.

Our service operates Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm and is closed on all NSW public holidays, as well as during our Christmas shutdown period.

This opportunity is ideal for a chef seeking a balanced lifestyle, a positive workplace culture, and a genuinely supportive team environment. Our centre features a brand-new, fully equipped commercial kitchen designed with a modern, natural aesthetic, making it an enjoyable and inspiring space to work.

We are looking for someone interested in a long-term role who can work collaboratively with our team to design and implement a Munch & Move-approved menu for children aged 0–6 years. We value an interactive chef who is passionate about introducing children to a variety of nutritious and culturally diverse foods and experiences.
