Job summary

Pulse Staffing is seeking a qualified Chef to join our 38‑place boutique early childhood centre in Caringbah. The role involves designing and implementing a Munch & Move–approved menu for children aged 0–6, with meals that are nutritious and culturally diverse.

Operate Monday to Friday from 7:00am, with a negotiable hourly rate or salary package. Flexible part-time arrangement (approx. 5–6 hours/day) may suit the right candidate, in a supportive team environment with a modern kitchen.

Qualifications

• Qualified chef with relevant experience in childcare settings.
• Food Safety Supervisor Certificate is required.
• WWCC and National Police check current (within 6 months).
• GECCKO and Child Protection Training Certificate held.
• Understand children’s nutritional requirements and meal planning.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• Willingness to design and implement a Munch & Move–approved menu.

We are seeking a qualified Chef to join our 38-place boutique early childhood centre located in Caringbah, in the Sutherland Shire.

Our service operates Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 6:00pm and is closed on all NSW public holidays, as well as during our Christmas shutdown period.

Our centre features a brand-new, fully equipped commercial kitchen designed with a modern, natural aesthetic, making it an enjoyable and inspiring space to work.
