Job summary

Young Academics Early Learning Centre is seeking an Early Childhood Trainee to kick-start a career in Early Childhood Education and Care in Dharruk, NSW. You will study while working, completing a Certificate III with support from experienced educators.

The 12-month fixed-term, full-time role runs Monday to Friday with allocated study time to assist in completing your qualification. A strong commitment to child safety and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in starting a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Willingness to enrol in ACECQA-approved Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Positive attitude, reliability and willingness to learn and receive feedback.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow guidance of experienced educators.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Commitment to child safety and inclusive environment for every child.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced educators to provide high-quality education and care.
• Assist with educational programs and engaging learning experiences for children.
• Build positive and respectful relationships with children, families and your team.
• Support safe, inclusive and engaging learning environments.
• Complete your study and training requirements and apply your learning in the workplace.
• Embed child safety and safeguarding practices into everyday work.
