Job summary

Harmony Bardon is seeking an Early Childhood Teacher to lead engaging, play-based learning in a nurturing studio. You will shape high-quality educational programs, foster strong relationships with children and families, and collaborate with leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA-approved equivalent) is required.
• Completion of all National Child Safety Training via Geccko, with current certificates.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF v2.0, QKLG and contemporary pedagogy.
• Passion for intentional teaching, play-based learning & inquiry.
• Reflective, collaborative and curious approach to teaching.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commitment to child and cultural safety.
• Warm, engaging presence that children are drawn to.

Responsibilities

• Lead your studio with intentional, play-based and inquiry-driven teaching practices.
• Champion children's voices, rights, cultures and identities in everyday learning experiences.
• Plan, document and assess learning with purpose and curiosity.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families and the wider community.
• Collaborate with Educational Leader and other educators to achieve high-quality outcomes.
• Create engaging learning environments that inspire creativity, exploration and critical thinking.
• Bring EYLF V2.0 and QKLG to life through rich, meaningful experiences.
• Support transitions and school readiness during learning continuity.
