Job summary

Learning Ladder ELC is seeking dedicated Early Childhood Teachers to lead educational programs across our Melbourne-area centres. You will plan, implement and assess programs aligned with EYLF to support every child's growth.

You will mentor junior educators, collaborate with families, and ensure compliance with NQS. This permanent, full-time role offers a supportive environment for professional development and high-quality outcomes for children.

Qualifications

• Bachelor orGraduate Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Current ACECQA registration or eligibility as ECT.
• Minimum 1 year of experience as an ECT in childcare or kindergarten.
• Valid WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing high-quality educational programs based on the EYLF.
• Planning and structuring learning in indoor and outdoor environments using a variety of materials.
• Promoting language development through storytelling, role play, songs, and rhymes.
• Observing and evaluating students’ progress to detect signs of developmental needs or health issues.

• Engaging in regular parent-teacher consultations and participating in community support programs.
• Ensuring all practices align with the National Quality Standard (NQS).

Learning Ladder Early Learning Centres Pty Ltd As an Early Childhood Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and conducting educational programs for pre‑primary students. You will lead a team of educators to create an environment that promotes the social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development of every child.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualification: Relevant Bachelor or Graduate Diploma of

Early Childhood Education (or equivalent as recognized by ACECQA/AITSL).

• Registration: Current (or eligibility for) registration with ACECQA as an ECT
• Experience: Minimum 1 years of experience as a early childhood teacher in a childcare or kindergarten setting.
• Compliance: Valid

Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
