Job summary

Learning Ladder Early Learning Centres Pty Ltd is seeking passionate educators to support the safety, wellbeing, and developmental progress of children across multiple Melbourne centres. You will work with a supportive team to deliver high-quality care in line with the NQF and EYLF, ensuring strong partnerships with families.

Responsibilities include implementing EYLF-based programs, supervising activities, helping with daily routines, maintaining progress records, and adhering to OHS standards.

Qualifications

• Australian childcare experience preferred.
• Valid WWCC, First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Qualification: Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).
• Excellent verbal and written English skills for documentation and parent interaction.

You will work within a supportive team to deliver high-quality care in accordance with the National Quality Framework (NQF) and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and assist in the development of educational programs (EYLF).
• Supervise children’s indoor and outdoor activities ensuring a safe and hygienic environment.
• Support children’s daily routines including mealtimes, rest, and personal hygiene.
• Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and daily observations.
• Engage with parents and families to provide updates on their child’s development.
• Ensure all activities comply with Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• Qualification: Certificate III in

Early Childhood Education and Care (or higher).

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in an Australian regulated childcare setting preferred.
• Compliance: Valid

Working with Children Check (WWCC), First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.

• Communication: Excellent verbal and written English skills for documentation and parent interaction.
