Job summary

Newcastle Anglican Schools Corporation – Fletcher NSW is seeking a Preschool Early Childhood Teacher to lead the day-to-day operations of the assigned room and support educators and staff within your team. You will collaborate with the Educational Leader to develop and reflect on a high-quality program for children and families.

Qualifications

• Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University.
• Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification.
• Current ACECQA approved Anaphylaxis and emergency asthma management training.
• Valid Working with Children Check clearance.
• Accredited Child Protection Training.
• Teacher Accreditation as per state/territory requirements if applicable.

The role

The Preschool Early Childhood Teacher is a member of the Bishop Tyrrell Anglican College Team. The role is primarily responsible for:

• be responsible for management of the day-to-day operation of the assigned room, including providing leadership and support to educators and staff within your team in line with relevant regulations, policies and procedures
• in collaboration with the Educational Leader assist with the development, implementation and reflection of the educational program to provide a high-quality program for all children and families

About your experience:

• Demonstrated knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, Education and Care Services National Law (2010), and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011).

You must have:

• Degree in Early Childhood from a recognised University (as listed on the approved qualification list by ACECQA)
• Current Provide an Emergency First Aid response in an Education and Care Setting qualification
