Job summary

Nido Early School in Belair, Adelaide, South Australia, seeks an Early Childhood Teacher who will guide learning with children and families within a Reggio Emilia framework. You’ll design inspiring environments and model best practices to support children's identity, wellbeing, and curiosity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Alignment to Reggio Emilia philosophy.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• Certificate for National Child Safety Training (if employed from 1 April) or willing to obtain before employment.

The role: Early Childhood Teacher

As the Early Childhood Teacher you will:

• Set learning goals with children, families and colleagues that provide achievable challenges for every child
• Role model educational practices for other educators, aligned with the Reggio Emilia approach
• Support educators to enable children to develop a strong sense of identity, sense of wellbeing, confidence and their connection to the world
• Design educational, diverse and engaging learning environments that spark curiosity and wonder

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you are a passionate educator with a love of learning and hold:

• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Valid Teacher Registration
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 April must provide a certificate confirming completion of the Federally mandated ‘National Child Safety Training’ via Geccko, or must be willing to obtain prior to employment
