Job summary

Nido Early School in Mount Hutton, NSW is recruiting an Early Childhood Teacher. You will set learning goals with children, families and colleagues and role-model high-quality practices inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach.

We are seeking a dedicated educator with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent, current checks, and valid registration. The role includes mentoring and opportunities for professional growth within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or ACECQA equivalent.
• Current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate.
• Alignment to the Reggio Emilia educational philosophy.
• Valid Teacher Registration.
• Completion of National Child Safety Training or willingness to obtain before employment.

Responsibilities

The role: Early Childhood Teacher

As the Early Childhood Teacher you will:

What you’ll bring

To succeed in this role, you are a passionate educator with a love of learning and hold:

• Hold a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education (or ACECQA equivalent)
• Have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
• Alignment to the educational philosophy of Reggio Emilia
• Valid Teacher Registration
• Please note: Any candidate employed from 1 October must provide evidence of completion of the mandatory National Child Safety Training via Geccko, including Foundation Training (courses 1&2) and Advanced Training (courses 3&4), or be willing to obtain these certifications prior to employment.
