Job summary

Rise Early Learning is seeking a reliable Kitchen Hand (Support Worker) for our Charmhaven centre on the NSW Central Coast. This role covers kitchen, laundry and housekeeping duties to support children and staff in a busy early learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant culinary experience, basic food handling skills, and a commitment to safety and hygiene. Part-time, permanent position with 10am–2pm hours and flexibility as required.

Qualifications

• Clear and effective communicator.
• Inclusive and collaborative attitude.
• Willingness to grow with the service and maintain professionalism.
• Confident working independently, under supervision, and in a team.
• Culinary qualifications and/or experience in Early Childhood are desirable.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma certifications encouraged (at own cost).
• NSW Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Assist with kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping tasks.
• Manage supplies across classrooms and shared facilities.
• Support basic food preparation and ensure health, safety and hygiene standards.
