Job summary

Old Bar Little Learners is seeking passionate Early Childhood Educators to join our growing team. You will work with room leaders and the Educational Leader to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences in a purpose-built environment.

Qualifications

• Requires relevant Early Childhood qualification (Certificate III or Diploma or ACECQA-approved) or working towards status.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC) required.
• First aid/CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• Commitment to child safety standards and professional learning.
• Food safety/handling training where relevant to duties.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and inclusive learning experiences alongside room leaders and centre leadership.
• Observe, document and respond to children's learning and development.
• Prioritise active supervision, safe practices and partnerships with families.
• Contribute to reflective practice, teamwork and service quality improvement.
• Demonstrate child-safe behaviour and follow safeguarding procedures.

You will work alongside room leaders, the Educational Leader and Centre Directors to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences in a purpose-built learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Work alongside room leaders, the Educational Leader and Centre Directors to deliver engaging, inclusive learning experiences.
• Observe, document and respond to children's learning, development and individual needs.
• Prioritise active supervision, positive guidance, safe practices and respectful partnerships with families.
• Contribute to reflective practice, teamwork and service-wide quality improvement.
• Demonstrate child-safe behaviour, follow safeguarding procedures and speak up about concerns.

About you

• Certificate III, Diploma or ACECQA-approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification, or suitable working-towards status.
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (subject to verification).
• Relevant first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management qualifications, or willingness to obtain where appropriate.
• Required child protection and national child safety training, and willingness to complete service induction.
• Required food safety/handling training where relevant to duties.
• A demonstrated commitment to the NSW Child Safe Standards and safe, inclusive care.
