Job summary

anzuk Education is seeking an Early Childhood Educator to support a Pre-Prep program in a small, sessional kindergarten in Camberwell. You will work with an experienced Early Childhood Teacher to help children transition to school through play-based activities, with a strong emphasis on literacy, numeracy and school readiness.

The role is fixed-term for Terms 3 and 4, 2026, 2–4 days per week (3 days preferred), Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:00pm, with salary in accordance with VECTEA.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-equivalent is required.
• Experience in a kindergarten or sessional kindergarten setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of the VEYLDF and school readiness is essential.
• Nurturing, positive and collaborative approach is important.
• Passion for helping children as they prepare for school.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of a high-quality Pre-Prep program in a sessional kindergarten.
• Assist with engaging literacy and numeracy experiences.
• Observe and support children’s learning and development.
