Job summary

Alasan Cottage Preschool in New South Wales is hiring a Full-Time Early Childhood Educator with Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care. You will work with a small, collaborative team to deliver play-based learning and document children’s learning, observations and reflections.

You should have EYLF knowledge, WWCC, Child Protection training, and be committed to nurturing wellbeing and inclusive practices within a supportive community setting.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care is required or an approved equivalent qualification.
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) is required.
• Extensive knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and development of learning experiences.

Responsibilities

• Building warm, respectful and responsive relationships with children and families.
• Planning and implementing meaningful, play-based learning experiences based on children's interests and goals.
• Completing observations and contributing to children's individual learning documentation.
• Applying EYLF to curriculum planning, documentation and reflective practice.
