Job summary

Uniting Vic.Tas is seeking part-time or full-time Early Childhood Educators at our Korumburra service. You will contribute to a nurturing, community-focused learning environment.

We welcome applicants pursuing an ACECQA recognised Diploma in Early Education and Care and offer generous salary packaging options, leave loading of 17.5% and the potential to increase take-home pay through salary packaging up to $15,900.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Children’s Services or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority
• 50% completion of an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification meets the criteria
• Understanding of early childhood development and appropriate program planning

We are seeking part-time or fulltime Early Childhood Educators at our service in Korumburra.

About You

To be successful in your application you will meet the person specification in the position description, including having a Diploma in Children’s Services (or equivalent as approved by Australian Children’s Education and Care Quality Authority) or having completed at least 50% of an Early Childhood Education and Care qualification.

You Will Also Have

• An understanding and knowledge of early childhood development
• Ability to assist in the provision of a developmentally appropriate program for the children, in partnership with other educators, families and children
• An ability to plan, reflect, work and manage time effectively with minimal supervision
• Reasonable knowledge and understanding of the National Law and Regulations
• Current National Child Safety Training and any applicable state-based Child Safety Training (or ability to obtain prior to commencement).
