Job summary

NSW Health at Westmead is offering a Permanent Full-Time Child Care Worker position. The base salary range is 61,407.92 to 69,503.42 per year with an additional 12% superannuation and 17.5% leave loading plus salary packaging.

Role involves curriculum planning, supporting children aged 0–12, liaising with families, and contributing to Quality Improvement. Applications close 15 November 2026.

Responsibilities

• Consult with educators to plan, implement & evaluate the curriculum, ensuring an anti-bias approach
• create a friendly, secure & stimulating learning environment for children at all times plan, prepare & set up/pack away the environment
• be responsible for large or small groups and liaise with families in a positive manner about the development of their child
• maintain required educator/child ratios and participate in Quality Improvement & Planning
• participate in meetings, conferences & training courses and assist in briefing, supervising & evaluating students or volunteers
