Job summary

Sydney Catholic Early Childhood Services (SCECS) is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator to contribute to high‑quality care for children aged 0–6. This full‑time role supports a not‑for‑profit centre in NSW, fostering a safe, inclusive learning environment and collaboration with families and staff.

The position is a maximum‑term contract until January 2028, offering a weekday schedule, staff support, and professional development within a faith‑based service that prioritises child safety

Qualifications

• Understanding of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework.
• Ability to develop and implement high‑quality curriculum responsive to children’s interests.

Responsibilities

• Develop High‑Quality Curriculum responsive to children’s interests and needs.
• Support positive relationships with children, families and team.
• Uphold the organisation's Catholic identity, philosophy, policies and procedures.
• Assist with coordinating child care arrangements and access for families.
