Children's Village in Sydney is seeking a qualified childcare educator (Diploma or Cert 3) to support daily room operations and deliver a high-quality early learning program. You will work with a dedicated team to create a safe, engaging environment, guiding children and families with strong communication and inclusive practices.

The role emphasizes applying EYLF, NQS standards, behaviour management and safeguarding, with ongoing training and a supportive management team.

Qualifications

• Certificate 3 or Diploma in Early Childhood Education or Teaching.
• Experience as an educator in preschool age room.
• Strong understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standard (NQS).
• Behaviour management strategies and experience with children who have additional needs.
• Valid WWCC; First Aid, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (or willingness to obtain).
• Child Protection Training and min. 2 professional referees.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain positive relationships with children, families, educators and staff.
• Contribute to the educational program under the Room Leader to deliver a high-quality program.
• Assist with the smooth running of the room in line with regulations and policies.
