Qualifications

Role and Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging, play-based and age-appropriate learning experiences, aligned with each room’s established programs, routines, and the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).
• Foster a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment that encourages positive interactions and meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Observe, document, and reflect on children’s learning and development, using these insights to support and adapt educational experiences.
• Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the centre, contributing to a positive, respectful, and supportive workplace culture.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and well-organised learning environment, ensuring all practices align with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications and Skills

• Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or equivalent).
• Working with Children Check and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Previous experience in an early childhood education setting is preferred.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Passion for early childhood education and a genuine interest in supporting the development of young children.
