Job summary

VECRA is seeking a detail-oriented Governance and Regulatory Operations professional to support area-based teams in delivering regulatory duties. You will gain comprehensive training and work within a collaborative team, contributing to child safety and quality oversight across the North Western Victoria region.

The role involves administrative tasks, compliance visits, and data management, with travel to service sites and office coordination from the Coburg/Coburg office.

Qualifications

• Essential: valid Victorian Working with Childrens Check.
• Essential: Victorian drivers licence.
• Experience in administration, compliance, investigations or working in an early learning environment preferred.
• Diversity and inclusion awareness encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative support to the area or region and assist with report writing and regulatory activities.
• Conduct compliance service visits across education and care settings to assess compliance with National Law and Regulations.
• Support authorised officers during regulatory visits and investigations as directed.
• Assess complaints and incidents and triage notifications systematically.
• Prepare compliance documentation and keep accurate records of incidents.
• Attend and contribute in team meetings and maintain effective stakeholder communication.
• Ensure data quality in the National Quality Agenda IT System.
