Early Learning Victoria is seeking an experienced administrative professional for an open 0.8FTE role co-located at Eaglehawk North Primary School. You will support enrolment processing, Child Care Subsidy management, payroll, attendance and records, while serving as a main contact for families and partners.
Strong MS Office skills, organisational abilities and experience with childcare policies are essential. The role offers flexible days/hours to suit the successful candidate and role needs.

Early Learning Victoria (ELV) is leading the roll-out of 50 government-owned and operated early learning centres by 2032, with 18 currently operating. Our centres offer long day care, three and four-year-old kindergarten and pre-prep in accessible, play-based environments connected to local communities. Open since 2025 and co-located with Eaglehawk North Primary School, Early Learning Victoria Nyernilang Lar (meaninglearning place) is a 102-place centre in Eaglehawk North offering long day care Three-Year-Old Kindergarten and Four-Year-Old Kindergarten programs.

In this role, you will:
Provide administrative support across all aspects of centre operations, including enrolment processing, Child Care Subsidy management, payroll, attendance and record keeping
Serve as a key point of contact for families, responding to enquiries by phone, email and in person
Build and maintain strong relationships with families, colleagues, suppliers and the ELV central team
Process payments and perform data entry into the Child Care Management System and payroll systems
Monitor centre security and perform general administrative tasks including communications, team planning and accepting deliveries
Operate in accordance with Education Care Services National Law and Regulations and Early Learning Victoria policies and procedures

Previous experience in an administrativerole,ideallywith exposure to the early childhood sector
Experience in financial reporting and following organisational policies and procedures
Confidence using administrative software and systems, including strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
Effective communication and relationship-building skills with staff, families and communities
Strong organisational skills, including time management, multitasking and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
