Job summary

Tetra Tech Coffey is a leader in geotechnical and environmental engineering with a Melbourne office that offers opportunities to grow within a strong national team.

We seek early career geotechnical engineers passionate about site investigations, client engagement and delivering quality reports across mining, civil, renewables and transport sectors. Travel to remote areas and interstate locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, Geology or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Up to 2 years of experience in geotechnical investigations and site work.
• Soil and rock logging competency, including in-situ tests.
• Interest in developing business development and analytical skills.
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work independently when required.
• Willingness to travel to remote areas and interstate locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead site investigations and manage subcontractors.
• Contribute to geotechnical reports and client communications.
• Collaborate with experts on diverse projects across mining, civil, renewables, dams, hydropower and transport infrastructure.
• Engage with clients and contractors to deliver high-quality outcomes.
