Job summary

Human Psychology, part of the APM Group, is expanding and seeking experienced Social Workers or Psychologists to support individuals and organisations across a wide range of issues. You will work in an environment that values wellbeing, with on-site EAP and psychosocial training opportunities across multiple locations in South Australia.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience supporting individuals across a wide range of issues.
• Brief therapy solution-focused intervention skills
• Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social work from an approved Australian Institution.
• Current full membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or current general registration as a psychologist with AHPRA.
• Critical incident experience would be highly regarded

Responsibilities

• Assessments of client’s presenting concerns and related risk.
• Use short term solution focused therapy to identify goals and provide skills and strategies to achieve them.
• Provision of counselling to individuals with issues including mental, emotional, lifestyle and work life concerns.
• Working autonomously with clients and ensuring best practice in approach to client work.
• Providing on-site EAP and critical incident response to customers.
• Providing psychosocial training to customers at workplaces.
