Job summary

SIMPEC is seeking experienced E&I Tube Fitters to join the McArthur River Mine Project. This role involves pneumatic valves, tubing installation, and instrument tubing within a busy mining construction environment, on a FIFO roster.

Roster is 2 weeks on, 1 week off; project duration is approximately 3–4 months; point of hire is Darwin, with preference for candidates based in Darwin though applications from other locations are welcome.

Qualifications

• Must pass full pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen.
• Previous Construction / Mining Experience.
• High Risk Work Licence - WP.
• Working at Heights (Within 2 Years).
• Construction Card.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Australian Work Rights.

About The Role

SIMPEC will deliver structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, and instrumentation works as part of this project. The scope also includes modifications to existing infrastructure and installation of ancillary items. Located approximately 900km southeast of Darwin, the McArthur River Mine is a key site within Glencore's operations.

• Roster: FIFO - 2 weeks on / 1 week off
• Project Duration: Approximately 3 - 4 months
• Point of Hire: Darwin

While the role operates on a FIFO roster, candidates ideally based in Darwin are sought; however, applications from other locations are welcome.
