Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced E&I Project Engineer for an ongoing casual role on a major Oil & Gas project, commencing ASAP. The position involves a 15:13 roster FIFO from Perth, with responsibilities spanning planning, execution, commissioning and completion phases.

You will review and verify construction work packs, provide technical guidance to field teams, and ensure compliance with Australian Standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas, Mining, Energy or Heavy Industrial projects.
Experience in E&I engineering, project engineering, construction or field engineering roles.
Strong understanding of Australian Standards and industry best practices.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and diagrams.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage E&I deliverables across project phases.
Review work packs for accuracy and compliance with specs.
Provide technical guidance to construction, commissioning and execution teams.
Review drawings, specifications and docs to support field activities.
Support QC/QA and NCR / TQ processes.
Coordinate ITPs and ensure inspections align with requirements.
Liaise with Chevron, subcontractors and stakeholders to ensure project outcomes.
Identify and manage risks and quality concerns impacting cost/schedule.
