Job summary

Air Liquide Healthcare Australia is seeking a Software Engineer to monitor and optimise critical systems including MS Dynamics GP and SQL databases in Sydney. You will act as the first line of support, coordinate with external IT partners, and enhance data processes, reports and dashboards to drive operational efficiency.

The role focuses on ERP and integration work, automation, and proactive system improvements while ensuring data accuracy and strong collaboration with global IT teams.

Qualifications

• ERP experience will be highly regarded.
• Experience with APIs, data integrations, CSV, XML, JSON, and automation tools.
• Strong SQL database administration and reporting experience.
• Strong MS Dynamics Great Plains experience is essential.
• Programming skills are essential.
• Good understanding of ERP and business systems.
• Power BI skills will be an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities.

Responsibilities

• Support and monitor MS Dynamics GP, SQL databases, reporting tools, integrations, and business-critical systems
• Act as the first point of contact for internal IT and system-related issues
• Coordinate with the external IT company for support tickets, server matters, patching, updates, and service issues
• Maintain and improve SQL databases, queries, views, stored procedures, reports, and data processes
• Develop and maintain SQL Back Up Schedules, batch jobs, management reports, operational reports, and system reports
• Use SQL, PowerShell, APIs, CSV, JSON, and automation tools to improve system efficiency
• Support API integrations, data imports/exports, and system-to-system data exchange
• Assist with Power BI dashboards, KPI reports, and business intelligence reporting
• Support Global IT teams related to upcoming ERP, local user support with reporting, data, and system queries
• Identify system improvements and help streamline business processes
