Description:

Create, test and modify computer programs. Work as part of a team to assess the requirements of computer users, developing ways to meet these requirements and translating these solutions into a set of instructions programs that a computer can understand. May be required to design a new program or modify an existing one to meet a client's specific needs. Preparation of user manuals and troubleshooting guides to assist other programmers, support technicians, and program users. Typically requires 5-7 years of experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.

The role is responsible for the development of enhancements and fixes in NSWTG's Dynamics 365 environments. Experience in the Microsoft Power Platform, specifically with Dynamics 365 is essential.

Primary purpose of the role:

The Dynamics CRM Developer maintains, manages, and develops the Dynamics 365 environment for the NSW Trustee and Guardian that is critical to a number of core business processes.

The role will be responsible for day-to-day operations and ensuring business continuity with Microsoft scheduled releases.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with business users, business analysts, and other technical teams to gather and analyse requirements, and translate them into technical specifications and solutions.
  2. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design documents, development guidelines, and best practices.
  3. Perform code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards, performance optimization, and security best practices.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Dynamics 365 and related modules.
  5. Keep up-to-date with the latest Microsoft Dynamics 365 updates and industry trends, and provide recommendations for process improvements and system enhancements.
  6. Participate in system testing, deployment, and post-implementation support activities.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization and configuration, including form design, workflow development, and business rules.
  • Experience with web services and integrations, such as RESTful APIs and OData.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) and Azure cloud technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
