Job summary

Reddam House Sydney is seeking a dedicated Secondary English Teacher to inspire a love of literature and language at our Bondi campus. You will deliver engaging, student-centered English lessons across Year 10–12, including Extension courses, and contribute to a vibrant school community.

The successful applicant will have a degree in English (or English Literature) and a teaching qualification, with a proven track record of differentiated instruction, data-informed planning, and strong

Qualifications

Proven experience teaching English with outstanding student outcomes.
Strong knowledge of English language, literature, and pedagogy.
Ability to design differentiated learning programs informed by assessment data.

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and high-quality English lessons fostering critical and creative thinking.
Differentiate teaching and learning programs to meet diverse needs and abilities.
Integrate technology to enhance student learning and engagement.
Design, implement, and evaluate assessment tasks that support student growth.
Provide timely, constructive feedback and maintain accurate records of progress.
Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment promoting wellbeing and success.
Collaborate with students, families, and colleagues to achieve learning outcomes.
Contribute to curriculum development and staff professional learning.
