Job summary

Abbotsleigh is seeking an energetic Sport Coordinator to support a dynamic co-curricular sports program. You will coordinate school sports, oversee competition administration, assist with major events, and promote sport across the School.

You will liaise with coaches, officials, students and families, manage rosters, risk and compliance, and contribute to a positive culture of participation and achievement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
• Experience in sports administration, coordination, or management.
• Demonstrated organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Working With Children Check and current First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a range of school sports and Saturday competitions.
• Manage draws, trials, team administration and sporting logistics.
• Liaise with coaches, officials, students and families.
• Coordinate registrations, coach, referee and umpire rosters.
• Assist with school carnivals, representative pathways and awards events.
• Support risk management, compliance and sport administration systems.
• Promote and celebrate sporting achievements through communications and media.
• Coach sporting teams and contribute to a culture of participation and performance.
