The Rivers Secondary College Richmond River High Campus is seeking a qualified School Counsellor to support student wellbeing and learning across primary and high school ages. This NSW public school role offers professional supervision, collaboration with teachers and families, and opportunities to work within a multidisciplinary district team.

The successful applicant will be registered or provisionally registered as a psychologist, with travel between sites and alignment to the NSW Department

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions with a demonstrated understanding of the mental health needs of children and young people.
• Experience in the psychological assessment of children and young people, including case formulation and report writing.
• Ability to collaborate with key stakeholders to improve learning and wellbeing outcomes for diverse students.

Responsabilités

• Provide counselling and psychological assessment to support student learning and wellbeing.
• Collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies to support students across primary and high school ages.
• Engage in supervision and professional development within a multidisciplinary school counselling team.
