Job summary

Box Hill Public School in Sydney’s Northwest Growth Corridor seeks a School Counsellor to join NSW Department of Education’s School Counselling Service, providing counselling and psychological assessment to support student learning and wellbeing.

The successful candidate will work across primary and high school age students, collaborate with teachers, families and external agencies, and participate in ongoing supervision and professional development within a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience in counselling using evidence-based interventions for children and young people.
• Experience in psychological assessment, case formulation, and report writing.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to improve student learning and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide counselling and psychological assessments for students.
