Job summary

St Augustine's Parish School in Salisbury, SA invites passionate educators to join our Replacement Primary Teachers roster for 2027. You will collaborate with leaders, colleagues, students and families to deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the Australian Curriculum in a Catholic school context.

You will contribute to student growth through inclusive practice, strong relationships and reflective teaching, while supporting wellbeing and the faith formation of our students.

Qualifications

• Current Teacher Registration in South Australia.
• Accreditation to Teach in a Catholic School (or willingness to obtain).
• Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality teaching and learning programs.
• A commitment to inclusive education and meeting the diverse needs of students.
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.
• Proficient ICT skills and the ability to utilise contemporary learning technologies.
• A commitment to Catholic education and the values and mission of St Augustine's Parish School.
• Current Working with Children Check, Catholic Clearance, RRHAN-EC certification and relevant clearances required for employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching practices to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
• Create safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environments.
• Monitor, assess and report on student learning and achievement.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Implement effective classroom management and behaviour education strategies.
• Actively support student wellbeing and safeguarding practices.
• Participate in professional learning, collaboration and school improvement initiatives.
• Maintain accurate records and complete administrative responsibilities in a timely manner.
• Contribute positively to the ethos, values and wider life of the school community.
