Job summary

Catholic Education Office Diocese of Wollongong – Nowra NSW is seeking a Secondary Teacher to teach PD/H/PE on a temporary full-time basis. The position starts Jan 28, 2027, with a closing date of Oct 11, 2026, 11:55pm. The role supports growth in faith and learning and requires WWCC clearance.

The successful applicant will teach PD/H/PE and participate in building a safe, supportive learning environment aligned with PB4L and school community expectations. Registration with NESA is required.

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission of the Catholic School within the Church.
• Create an orderly, safe and supportive learning environment based on PB4L.
• Plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in PD/H/PE.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Engage professionally with colleagues, parents/carers and the wider school community.
