Job summary

St Johns College, Dubbo NSW, invites applications for a PDHPE Teacher on a temporary, full-time basis to cover leave from Term 4 2026 to Term 4 2027. The role supports a co-educational Catholic school, developing curriculum and fostering a caring, orderly learning environment.

You will work with leadership to deliver quality programs, use inclusive teaching strategies, assess progress, and contribute to school life. NSW teacher accreditation and a commitment to Catholic education are essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise and a passion for leading learning.
• Appropriate tertiary qualifications and accreditation to teach in NSW.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology to inform, track and report learning.
• Highly effective organisational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to contribute to the further development of a self-reviewing and self-improving school culture.
• Interest in the coordination of transition events and ability to manage stakeholders.
• Commitment and understanding of Catholic Education ideals.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement quality curriculum programs aligned with NSW policies.
• Create a learner-centred, supportive and cooperative learning environment.
• Use inclusive teaching strategies and adapt practices for equitable education.
• Analyze student assessment data to identify learning barriers and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with school leadership and staff and contribute to school life.
• Provide student supervision and assist in organising extracurricular activities.
