Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum including the teaching of literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning/high impact teaching strategies guided by how students learn.
• Demonstrated experience in monitoring and assessing student learning using data.
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and ability to build collaborative relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual students.
• Plan, implement and evaluate high-quality teaching programs.
• Undertake other duties as determined by the school leadership.
• Participate in parent meetings, staff meetings, and school events (camps/excursions).
• Support induction programs and ongoing professional learning.
