Job summary

Qualifications

• Knowledge of curriculum and ability to integrate literacy and numeracy into health and physical education.
• Experience planning and implementing high-impact teaching strategies.
• Experience using data to inform teaching and provide feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaborating with students, parents, colleagues and the wider school community.
• Commitment to professional learning and reflective practice to improve teaching quality.
• Qualifications to teach HPE through VCE level.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of HPE to a range of student groups; plan, prepare and deliver programs.
• Collaborate with staff to develop and implement high-quality teaching and learning strategies.
• Use data to monitor student progress and inform instruction; provide feedback to students and parents.
• Mentor and supervise student teachers as required.
• Engage with school policies, professional learning and school improvement priorities.
