Job summary

Redeemer Lutheran College is seeking a dynamic Teacher for Health, Physical Education and Health & Physical Education (HPE) in Years 7–12 for 2027. You will deliver engaging programs, foster wellbeing and support students' personal growth within our Christian community.

Qualifications

• QCT registration or eligibility to register.
• Ability to teach Secondary Health and Physical Education.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues.
• Strong classroom management and student engagement.
• Commitment to student wellbeing and pastoral care.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Desirable: Cert III in Fitness.
• Willingness to support and contribute to the Christian ethos of the College.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and contemporary HPE programs aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Foster a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Inspire students to participate in physical activity, health education and sport.
• Assess, monitor and report on student achievement and progress.
• Support the wellbeing, engagement and personal development of students.
• Build positive partnerships with students, parents and colleagues.
• Contribute to co-curricular and sporting programs.
• Undertake Home Group Teacher responsibilities, including pastoral care and student support.
• Actively contribute to the broader life of the College.
