Job summary

YMCA South Australia is seeking enthusiastic gymnastics coaches to join our expanding team at multiple centres. You will deliver progressive recreational sessions, emphasising safety, fun, and skill development for participants of various ages.

Applicants should hold first aid, safeguarding, and gymnastics accreditation, with a commitment to ongoing learning and career development within a community-focused sports environment.

Qualifications

• First aid and safeguarding requirements are needed.
• RRHAN-EC Masterclass and coaching accreditations are required.
• Gymnastics Australia technical membership is essential for eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe gymnastics coaching sessions with an emphasis on enjoyment and progression.
• Deliver excellent customer service addressing enquiries and concerns.
• Assist in the development of participants and provide constructive feedback to relevant parties.
• Ensure safeguarding policies and centre procedures are upheld.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organised gymnastics environment throughout each shift.
• Participate in team development, training, and staff meetings.
• Coach across recreational and school settings with diverse age groups.
