Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead daily operations across Sola Restaurant & Bar and conference spaces on the Sunshine Coast. This hands-on role involves coaching the F&B team, coordinating kitchen and service, and ensuring exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced resort environment.

You will work closely with the F&B Operations Manager to maintain service standards, manage rostering and drive a collaborative team culture across our vibrant resort.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in hospitality or F&B.
• Strong knowledge of F&B service standards and procedures.
• Excellent communication and people leadership skills.
• Hands-on approach and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Confident guest engagement and problem-solving skills.
• Commercial awareness including labour and cost control.
• Positive attitude and genuine passion for hospitality.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations across Sola Restaurant & Bar and conference spaces.
• Lead, coach and motivate the F&B team to deliver exceptional service.
• Coordinate effectively between kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation, hygiene and guest experience.
• Assist with rostering, labour management and team performance.
• Engage with guests, respond to feedback and resolve issues professionally.
• Support new initiatives, promotions and events across the resort.
• Help drive a positive, collaborative and high-performing team culture.
