Job summary

Gema Group is seeking reliable Storemen and Cellar Hands to join our casual stadium team at McDonald Jones Stadium in Newcastle for event-based work. Hours vary around events with possible early starts, late finishes and weekends.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading stock, receiving deliveries, distributing beverage stock to outlets, and maintaining warehouse, cellar and storage areas. RSA is required and forklift knowledge is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Availability during heavy event season 15 October to 15 December and from now onwards.
• Experience with kegs, taps and beer lines.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling.
• Reliable, punctual and team-oriented.
• Holding a valid NSW RSA is required.
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced team environment.
• Positive, energetic attitude.

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading and moving stock.
• Receiving and organising deliveries.
• Distributing food and beverage stock to outlets, bars and storage areas.
• Replenishing bars and service areas.
• Organising warehouse, cellar, coolroom and storage areas.
• Handling cartons, kegs and other beverage stock.
• Assisting with event set-up and pack-down.
• General warehouse, logistics and cellar duties.
