Job summary

Novotel Sunshine Coast Resort & Sunshine Coast Convention Centre in Queensland is seeking energetic and reliable Food & Beverage Housepersons to join on a casual basis. You’ll set up and pack down spaces for conferences, banquets and events, and move tables, chairs and equipment.

You’ll work across indoor and outdoor spaces in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Food & Beverage and Events teams to ensure smooth operations and a high standard of presentation.

Qualifications

• Energetic, reliable and hands-on attitude required.
• Physically capable of lifting and moving equipment.
• Team oriented with good communication and time management.

Responsibilities

• Set up and pack down conference, banquet and event spaces.
• Move tables, chairs, staging, equipment and other heavy items safely.
• Prepare rooms and spaces for meetings and large events across indoor and outdoor areas.
• Assist with outdoor event set-ups and pack-downs.
• Ensure spaces are clean, organised and presented to a high standard.
• Support service and maintain orderly work areas as part of the team.
• Follow safe manual handling practices and workplace procedures.
