The school enrolment is around 950 students with a focus on enriching literacy, numeracy and the performing arts, and a supportive wellbeing program to cater for diverse needs. We seek a dedicated teacher with unconditional full approval to teach and a collaborative approach to learning.

Qualifications

• Unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement.
• Approval to teach DAT Design and Technology; ITD Industrial Technology – Multimedia/Photography; ITX Technology Mandatory (Years 7-8) and IST Information and Software Technology.
• Demonstrated ability to manage safe, active practical learning environments that foster inclusive learning and promote student engagement.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of the TAS team to design and deliver dynamic and engaging teaching and learning programs and assessment, which challenge and support students of all abilities and backgrounds.
• Highly developed interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive relationships with staff, students and parents.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver dynamic TAS teaching programs in Design and Technology and related subjects.
• Plan and deliver engaging, assessments and learning activities across practical environments.
• Foster inclusive learning, safety, wellbeing and student engagement.
• Build strong relationships with staff, students and parents to support student growth.
