Qualifications

• Approval to teach Engineering Studies and Technology Mandatory (Years 7 and 8) or preparedness to retrain via on-the-job experience supported by the NSW Department of Education.
• Well-developed interpersonal, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Demonstrated capacity to implement effective classroom management strategies and deliver engaging, high-impact lessons that support and promote high expectations for all students, including HPGE learners, EAL/D students and those requiring learning support.
• Demonstrated ability to design, plan and implement curriculum, including differentiated teaching and learning programmes, assessment and resource development, aimed at driving improved student learning outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Upskill on the job with two years of supported teaching experience
• Deliver engaging, high-impact lessons that support and promote high expectations for all students, including HPGE learners, EAL/D students and those requiring learning support.
• Design, plan and implement curriculum, including differentiated teaching and learning programmes, assessment and resource development.
