Job summary

anzuk Education is recruiting for Design, Digital and Industrial Technologies teachers to join schools across Cairns and Far North Queensland, starting Term 1 2027. The role covers planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and supporting student progress.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education or relevant科技/Engineering degree with teaching qualification, QCT registration or eligibility, and strong communication and collaboration skills to

Qualifications

Bachelor of Education or relevant Technologies/Engineering-related degree with teaching qualification.
Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility to obtain it.
Experience teaching secondary Design, Digital or Industrial Technologies; Engineering teaching experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Design, Digital and/or Industrial Technologies aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
Foster an inclusive classroom culture that supports student engagement and collaboration.
Track student progress and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen teaching practice.
Contribute to school life beyond the classroom through events and extracurricular activities.
