Job summary

anzuk Education is recruiting for Design, Digital and Industrial Technologies teachers to join schools across Cairns and Far North Queensland, starting Term 1 2027. The role covers planning and delivering engaging lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum and supporting student progress.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor of Education or relevant科技/Engineering degree with teaching qualification, QCT registration or eligibility, and strong communication and collaboration skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education or relevant Technologies/Engineering-related degree with teaching qualification.
• Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration or eligibility to obtain it.
• Experience teaching secondary Design, Digital or Industrial Technologies; Engineering teaching experience highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Design, Digital and/or Industrial Technologies aligned with the Australian Curriculum.
• Foster an inclusive classroom culture that supports student engagement and collaboration.
• Track student progress and provide constructive, meaningful feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to strengthen teaching practice.
• Contribute to school life beyond the classroom through events and extracurricular activities.
