Job summary

Event Hospitality & Entertainment is seeking a Part Time Food & Beverage Supervisor – Conference & Events to oversee daily C&E operations at Rydges South Park Adelaide. You will supervise functions, liaise with event organisers and the sales team, and ensure successful outcomes across all events.

The role requires RSA certification, a professional appearance, and flexibility for morning and weekend shifts within a busy hotel environment.

Qualifications

• RSA certificate essential
• Ability to anticipate guest needs and respond promptly
• Excellent grooming and professional appearance
• Strong knowledge of hotel food & beverage service policies and procedures
• Mature, reliable, and respectful approach to colleagues and guests
• Ability to work mornings and weekends as required
• Experience in conference and events operations is advantageous
• Maintain high standards of service and safety in all duties

Responsibilities

• Take charge in the smooth running of all day time conferencing & evening functions & banquets
• Meet & greet with all conference & event organisers on the day of the event
• Ensure each function that takes place is a success from start to finish
• Be a point of contact for all Conference & Events that take during your shift
• Liaise with the Conference & Event Sales team to keep up to date with all C&E operation requirements
• Attend & Event Order meetings to anticipate upcoming events & staffing requirements
• Comply with the hotel's standards when producing and dispensing food and beverage products
• Managing rosters and timesheets
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Have a full knowledge of and practice of all of the hotel's established workplace health and safety guidelines (WH&S)
• Adhere to all established cashiering policies and procedures
• Ensure the protection and maintenance of all operating equipment
• Perform any other duties as directed by the F&B Manager/General Manager
• The role will require applicants to be flexible with working hours including morning and weekend shifts
