Job summary

All Saints' Catholic College, Maitland, seeks a temporary 1-year Classroom Teacher (1.0 FTE) to join the PDHPE & PASS team commencing January 2027. The school serves Years 7–12 within the Maitland-Newcastle Diocese and fosters faith-filled learning.

The successful candidate will deliver quality PDHPE lessons, align with NSW Catholic education standards, and contribute to a vibrant Catholic culture through assessment, differentiation and collaboration with staff, students and families.

Qualifications

• Four-year trained teacher qualifications required.
• Active NSW Department of Education accreditation (NESA).
• Current NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Anaphylaxis training completed.
• CPR training completed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver PDHPE and related subjects to Years 7–12 in a Catholic school context.
• Develop and implement contemporary, compliant teaching programs and assessments.
• Differentiate teaching to meet diverse student needs and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with staff, families and the wider community to support student learning.
