Job summary

Coles Group Lisarow is seeking a Duty Manager to oversee store operations during evening and night shifts, ensuring the store is well-presented, safe and welcoming for customers and team members.

Reporting to the Store Manager, you will lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets, drive cost control, and uphold merchandising, safety and stock management standards while promoting a one-team culture that prioritises health, safety and wellbeing for all staff.

Qualifications

• Experience leading, coaching and developing a team to meet sales targets and control costs.
• Experience working in a fast-paced store environment.
• Ability to maintain Coles’ visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management standards.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to understand diverse customers.

About the Role

Reporting to the Store Manager, you’ll have full accountability for the running of the store during evening and night trade. You’ll take pride in contributing to a store which is exceptionally presented, welcoming and engaging for our customers, team members and local community.

About you and your skills

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Direct leadership experience as you’ll need to lead, coach and develop your team to meet sales targets and cost control
• To keep things simple and inspire customers by making sure Coles’ visual merchandising, safety, compliance and stock management standards are met
• To be customer obsessed and continually seek to better understand our diverse customers
• To drive a one team culture which celebrates success and puts our team members health, safety and wellbeing first
