Job summary

Next Gen Health & Lifestyle Clubs in Ryde is seeking a Duty Manager to lead daily operations and deliver premium member experiences across our club facilities.

You bring strong leadership, superb customer service, and solid organisational skills, with relevant qualifications (Senior First Aid, RSA, Pool Lifeguard). Flexible hours and weekend availability are required.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering premium customer service.
• Natural leadership and highly organised qualities.
• Strong interest and passion for the health & fitness industry.
• Adequate financial skills.
• Previous experience in food and beverage.
• Operational experience.
• Current qualifications in Senior First Aid, RSA and Pool Life Guard.
• Must be well presented.

Responsibilities

• Exceed member expectations and maintain high service standards.
• Ensure cleanliness of change rooms, steam, sauna areas and pool surrounds.
• Take pool chemical tests and monitor auto chemical controllers.
• Maintain efficient operations across the Club.
• Manage opening and closing of the Club.
• Provide leadership, motivation and innovation to teams.
• Deliver operational support to all departments including Reception, Food & Beverage, Maintenance, Crèche, Gym, Pool and Sales.
• Guarantee overall cleanliness and presentation of the building.

• Guaranteeing the overall cleanliness and exceptional presentation of the building.

• Flexible hours and days are required for this role, this role requires you to be available for opening and closing shifts including weekends.
• Proof of right to work in Australia documentation will be required to be presented at the first interview.
• Working with Children Clearance is also be required to work at Next Gen.
