Job summary

Whitsunday Regional Council seeks an experienced Dump Truck Operator for a major open-cut mining operation in the Bowen Basin. The role involves safely operating CAT and electric haul trucks as part of a production-driven team on a 7/7 day and night roster.

You will work with Skilled crews, ensuring safety compliance and efficient day-to-day mining operations. DIDO or BIBO options are available from Mackay or Townsville, with competitive remuneration and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience operating haul trucks in heavy mining environments.
• RIIMPO338E competency and Coal Board Medical are required.
• DIDO to site or use BIBO services from Mackay or Townsville.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul trucks to meet production targets safely and efficiently.
• Adhere to site safety standards and cooperate with crew.
• Maintain logs and report any equipment issues promptly.
