Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for an open cut coal operation in the Bowen Basin, Queensland. If you are chasing consistent work, strong hourly rates, and a genuine 7/7 lifestyle roster, this is a great long term opportunity.

Operating CAT 793 & CAT 797 rigid haul trucks, prestrip operations and working under excavators, shovels, loaders and scrapers are core duties. DIDO/BIBO/local applicants preferred with long term casual roles on offer.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience in open cut coal mining (QLD).
• Proven operating experience on CAT 793 & CAT 797.
• Experience working under shovel/excavator/loader.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT 793 & CAT 797 rigid haul trucks in open cut coal mining.
• Perform prestrip work and work under excavators, shovels, loaders and scrapers.
• Follow site HSE, SOPs and safety systems and meet production targets.
• Roster: 7/7 day/night, DIDO/BIBO, local applicants preferred.
• Accommodation, meals and PPE supplied on site.
